Caboolture South is a suburb 45 kilometres north north of Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the Moreton Bay Region.
The origin of the suburb name is from the Yugarabul Aboriginal language meaning place of carpet snake which is located south of the original Caboolture township.[1]
